FUCKING EMISSIONS TEST!!!
God dammit! I just spent $900 on getting my Mustang passed on it's emission's test. For those of you who don't live in Ontario it is a test that every car must pass so that the vehicle will comply with exhaust emissions laws. If you don't pass the car cannot be registered and driven. They charge you $30 just to test the fuckin thing! Guess where that money goes? Right in the government's pocket!
The retard who owned my car before had the catalytic converters installed backward so I needed two new cats and a pollution pipe. I feel like I just got piped in the ass!! I hope my sponsor cheques come in soon! DrinkingHard ------------------ Hey Grab a Beer And Come Slap Your Monkey At My Site! I thought car inspections are not required in Ontario, only in the US.

what year is your mustang? it should have a smog pump, powered off teh belt, with a tube running into the CAT, this pump & tube fills the CAT with more oxygen alwoing the exhaust to compleatly burn. if the CAT was in backwards the inlet for the forced air tube would be on the wrong side! You couldn't hook it up without some fancy fucked up plumbing. Hell i'd check to see if they did anything to your car @ all! if they were in backwards then they werent hookedup, therefore never used, so all that would be needed was to cut them out & install them properly! $100 labor,... maybe Good luck man! |

here is what you do (if you have a cheap car)...
sell your car to a family member that lives out of toronto...Not ALL of ontario has this emissions bylaw, only in the cities... Then get them to register the sale, then have them resell it back to you, this whole proccess will cost $30x2 ($60)...then you can drive for another year and avoid the test...my friend does this in ontario |
