seems like everyone is centering and doing the double borders nowadays....the first site i saw with this type of design is www.pertunda.com.

Well ive heard people recomend using a left boarder because alot of surfers use smaller resolutions or aol.

but then I just like the way it looks centered..

I dont know which would be better for surfers.

I do all my sites centered simply because I like it that way.

if your site has less than 760px of width you won't have any compatibility/resolution problems... but if not, you will have a horizontal scrollbar...and that is a major problem in ergonomics...
