Ok,

I didnt think its a lot cause nighthosting.com says it has that kind of line.

So I guess that that would be tooo much.
So would it be possible to get a 80 megabits a second line in toronto and a server running that?

They may be connected to that kind of line but most likely they do not use even close to 10% of it on a single server. Besides, why would you need a 1000 Mbps line if your network card only supports 100 Mbps?

You can call UUnet and they will be able to offer you 80 Mbps in Toronto but it's going to cost much more than it would in the US.

Why do you need your server(s) to be in Toronto?

500K unique TGP site? You can do that with less than 10 mbps.

OK, fair enough...you're walking about opening yet another freehost? And only 500K a day? Are you going to get your servers/domains blacklisted on The Hun ahead of time?

For a gigabit connection I'll sell it to you for $100,000/month

80/Mbps = $14,500/month

Depending on your application you'll need 2-3 servers load balanced. For 500k of traffic of TGP galleries you'll probably use around 30-50/Mbps depending if it's just pics or movies.

Sorry everyone.

I got everything mixed up. The Gigabit line is just the burst rate. My bad.

I figured it out and all I need is a 10-12Megabit line.

The price I got is $150 a Megabit.
If anyone has a lower one spam me with it plz.

Latez.

Oh ya and yes it is going to be yet another free host....

Asking for "SERVER running a GIGABIT connection" and then later posting "the gigabit line is just the burst rate", it has become clear that ZaHa has no idea what he's talking about.
