My new 17" Powerbook!
Okay,

I was TRYING to hold out for the G5 Powerbooks but Apple just stated that they may not be out till 2006. I can't wait that long for a new PB so I am buying this one now and some lucky employee at my office will inherit this when the G5 comes out.

Here it is

Does anyone here own a 17" powerbook. Comments?

I had one and my screen got loose somehow. Had to take it in for repairs. Only negative thing about it that I can mention.

I know 2006 WTF? I heard it's a cooling issue and unless they want to make the G5 PM larger than the current offerings it's just not happening.

PC laptop is out of the question of course

I was trying to hold out as well. The announcement this week got me to order. I got a maxed out 15in. 17 seemed a bit too big...if that's even possible.
