Personal or Business Bank Account?

Do you have a personal or business bank account? if you have a business bank account, do they charge a fee for the account each month?

Business Account

Go business account for the tax and liability reasons alone. Wachovia has a business account promotion now with no fees for 6 months with no min balance.

I have both as well.

Have all the income you make go to the biz and when you need money, write a check from the biz account to your personal account.

Will save you a LOT of headache come tax time.

I have both (actually 1 business and 3 personal) and most banks don't charge a fee if you keep a reasonable minimum balance.

Commerce Bank - free biz checking. YOu should have a corp and a personal where you pay your own salary too. Keep everything in proper order - get an accountant, do it right. You'll save yourself a bundle in the lonf run by a little organization and spending in the short run.
