Serious Fucking Bad Day ..Don't Know What I Am Going To Do

I went to go to check my bank balance today before i went out to get groceries.

I was expecting $300-400 dollars in my account. Eh! Wrong! $69. And get this - I check the lat six withdrawls over the phone and just about everyone as made on atms on a day I never left the house.

I call my bank (in the USA...I am in England) and they are all nice but say that since the charges wee made in the UK they can't prove it wasn't me. I *know* it wasn't me cause my was sat here building websites.

Now, I have exactly no money to live on. My checks from sponsors haven't come yet this month and I have #1 Xmas to pay for #2 Something I *must* go to on the 30th and #3 fucking medicine to pay for my hubby that isn't on the damn nhs.

Oh yeah..life sucks today and I don't see a way out.

So someone got your account number and emptied out your bank account???

If so I would suggest closing the account and opening a new one. Check fraud is a felony too, you might want to contact the police. More than likely the thief escaped, but you may be able able to nab him.

I'm really sorry to hear that this happened to you

so... is your bank card lost or something, cause to make an ATM withdrawal one'd probably need one... then you can claim no liability cause someone stole your ATM card...

Right,

When we comes to bank cards, you CAN dispute your charges just like a credit card.

We had efax keep charging our corporate bank card, and it was impossible to cancel (It required some PIN I forgot.) so we had our bank cancel the service and issue a chargeback for the charges we no longer authorized for.

My ex-wife lost an ATM card when we were married and had the same thing happen. (she wrote the pin number on the card.) I reported it and the police caught the guy by photos the atm took. Never did get the cash aback though.

Well, Ihaven't lost my card. Its in my wallet right now. It is a joint accout with my mother (makes it easier cause I am here in the UK) but she has her card as well

The weird thing is that sometimes when someone makes an online purhase it records it as an atm withdraw/automatic transaction.

The amounts that were taken out were in a series of small amounts throughout the day.

I have had them cancel the card and send me a new one. It will take them over a week to get me a car. Not that it matters unless I have money in the account.

Talk about multitasking..I am doing reviews, submitting a free site, a thumb gallery, and bulidng a avs all at the same time.

Desperate times.

The oldest daughter of a friend of mine was killed yesterday in a car wreck.

We all think it's a bad day until it really is. You'll always get more money.

sigh...i feel for ya sweety.

i know what it's like to be a victim of theft and to have no money as a result.

sure, there's worse things in life, but when you got a family to feed and no money...it's hard to see what could be worse.

i hope things get better for you ASAP.

love

Thats why you always sheild your password when typing it in. A merchant can take your card, swipe the machine and then swipe his skimmer (this records your info) then he watches you type your easy password in and you loose all your money.

Yeah I could really careless about the actual money if I wasn't the sole supporter for my family and I didn't have to buy my disabled husband medication.

To make things better...his computer decided to die last night. Joy
