Get a 2005 Z06 (or its initial year may be a 2006) its super car numbers and about $70k
0-60 in 3.7 seconds
0-100 in 7.3 seconds
1/4 mile in 11 seconds (maybe faster)
If you want a bit more lux and 4 doors the 2006 Cadillac STS-V is absolutely amazing. 440 hp from a beautiful variable valve timed supercharged northstar hooked up to a brand new 6L80e 6 speed tranny.Comment

Get a Lotus Elise or Exige (not sure how much the Exige is though) This thing is light, fast, and proabbly the best handling car in the world. No one has them and they arent that expensive. Slaloms faster that ferrari and everyones beloved z06. spend the money you saved by not sepdning all 80K and buildup the engine and you have a ferarri/z06/porsche eaterComment

you could also try an audi rs, acura nsx, or an m6 when it comes out. i personally think a 645 looks sweet and with 500hp it will be even sweeter...bah to the m5. audi isnt exactly a sports car but fast as hell. not much you can get for 80K that is mind blowing.Comment

I also have looked on ebay and the auto trader and I am right in line with other ZO6's Except mine has way less miles, is in perfect condition, and a 50th Anniversary edition to boot.
