Do signups from sites like "Napster of Porn" (because they're pushing the get porn for free factor) lead to more chargebacks and cancels than regular types of sites or galleries?
You very rarely see sponsors talking about such issues.
Usually:
1. a sponsor rep is too dumb to know this or even understand your question, he can only say "we launched Black Nude Asses last week and convert 1:142 with TGP traffic"
2. a big program owner is too busy to find this thread or to answer your question
3. a small program owner doesnt have any data on that
You aren't going to get any answers, but for different reasons. Who do you expect to answer this question, sponsors or the people running the sites? The sponsors won't answer because 1) its none of your business, and 2) it will piss off their current affiliates that ARE doing it. The site operators aren't going to comment simply because they don't have to or want to. Why would they want to create more competition for themselves?
If you want to know the answer you'll have to try it out for yourself.

The simple answer is yes they never will retain as well as other members that may have come from for example a search engine.
I have one site that i target only through the p2p networks and yes, my chargeback ratio is slightly higher but its pretty close to normal, nothing that would raise red flags. I think what makes your chargebacks swarm you is when your area members suck and its too hard to navigate for the stuff the surfers want to find.
