anyone know the title of this movie ?
I remember seeing glimpses of it and I want to rent it so I can watch it fully.
The story is that some people(self-imposed leaders) decided that the American people was the most happy in the 50's so they make everything look like in the 50's again. The US president is a simple person that enjoys watching game shows and has very little responsability. The entire media is controlled by a centre where they decide what airs and what doesn't. The people grow lifeless and careless because no-one has any passion for anything. In the end, one of the workers in this centre locks himself in there and plays classic music and other stuff to try and 'wake' the people up to life. In the end he gets caught/stopped but his message still gets across. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please help me out! Thanks!! |
