If your model is 17 years and 364 days old, it's child porn and you become a child pornographer. If she's one day older it's a whole different story.
Why do we accept 18 as the arbitrary age of consent? Maybe we should make it 34. Or 69.

The fact is, once you decide to allow naked photographs of yourself to be published, you are publicly naked for the rest of your life. It's a real Pandora's box.

A sliding scale would be best, where different things are legal at different ages. It's kinda weird that a softcore pic at 17 is illegal, while double anal at 18 is legal.

IMO 12 year olds = cp and not a 17 yr old.
And 18 is the US...a lot of other countries have different laws but for some reason everybody thinks the internet is American.

When it comes to porn, 18 is the legal limit in most countries. When it comes to sex, even in many American states the legal age of consent is 16.

The point of the law is to protect the person prior to the age of majority (18 or 21): most of society feels a person is not an adult (able to make up their own mind while thinking of the consequences) until that age is reached and therefore a law is put in place to protect them.

1-day turns in to 1-year turns into yah she is only twelve but she'll soon be 18.
