In memory of millions of dead people

Today it is 60 years since russian soldiers liberated Auschwitz-Birkenau.

For those who skipped history class, or ignored it, here are some data:

    - With the WWII and the war against CCCP as an excuse, the nazis invented the "final solution" on the "jewish problem". The campaign was to exterminate all jews.

    - Their campaign is called Holocaust.

    - From 1941 to 1945 they killed over 6 million jews within and outside Germany.

    - 1,5 million jews died because of hunger, slavery and executions in the ghettos all over East-Europe and in the camps.

    - In Poland alone, 3 million jews were killed in camps dedicated for executions.

    - The Einsatz units in the occupied part of CCCP, executed over 1,5 million jews.

    - In the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, over 1,5 million people were killed. By gas or burned to dead.

    NEVER forget it!

another memorial date today - 61th anniversary of Leningrad's blockade breach. The city was blockaded, sieged and bombed by nazi forces for over 900 days

to the memory of heroic citizens of the city...
