![]() Hi,
Every now and then, my media player (10) starts to play choppy video. The soundtrack usually goes on at a normal speed, but the video frames are not continuous. Ordinarily, I have been able to play all file types for many months without problems - Toshiba laptop, p4, 512meg ram, 1.5 gig free HD... In the past, rebooting my system would restore normal functionality, but I'm unable to fix it this time. Has anyone else had this problem? My system is clean from viruses and spyware - almost seems like a codec thing. My DVD-Rom player also plays choppy when my machine goes flakey like this. I was beginning to think my DVD player was blinking out, but MS Media Player would also develop the same symptoms playing media files of the HD. ![]() Thanks, -Dino |
