I'm Sick of Traffic Cash Gold!!!

Ok there was this thread earlier about some guy name PhilUK spamming to a password forum, I got that spam too and notified the sponsors, and got an instance response from most top affiliates. There's just Traffic Cash Gold, man I've been emailing back and forth with this guy Jay, and he sends me a link to the thread and tells me I have to send headers and the original email. Which I've done, and he's replied I didn't get the email, so I copied/pasted the spam itself in the response emails. Now he says that it's someone posing as the affiliate, which the thread itself no one believes this guy, the spammer trying to scam the surfer into paying a membership into his forum which sells hacked passwords to pay sites.

Whatever the case is, the FTC showed up at the Vegas convention to serve warrants to the sponsors and affiliates, if we have irresponsible affiliates like TCG, i think it says alot about the whole adult webmaster community.

Did you read the thread on the TCG support board about this?

Its quite blatant that the spams weren't from the guy, and were trying to maliciously cause him trouble. He wasnt spamming, therefore he wasnt in breach of any terms ?

I was trying to follow that saga but didn't feel like digging deep enough to see what was going on.

I can say one thing if Jay said its the affiliate getting set up its a safe bet hes 99.999% sure that is what is happening. If you use your head for a minute you will be able to figure out how easy it is for them to determine that and be certain.

Not exactly.

They served Reflected Networks and Signup4cash. No Affiliates.

Then why did he remove his topbucks banners when I reported to Topbucks (jenn) and why are we here disecting a spam, who cares if he puts his social security or hell his mother's address, spammers give the whole adult community a bad name and should die!

Is it impossible to fathom the concept that someone else might have sent the spam to get his sites/sponsors shut by the reports like you have done to the sponsors ?

Manowar,

I do understand your concern, there are people in this biz that are pretty wicked, but following the previous GFY thread, nobody believes him, he's trying to scam the surfer into buying a membership to a forum that sells hacked paysite passwords, I wouldn't believe him or the person that's trying to spam in his name, even if that was the case!

that's not true, they only served signup4cash and not reflected net, reflected net is owned by a different company

I went to the thread in the TCG forum and looked at the links and they just seem to be going to forums that are entirely empty (or require a login to view). While I'm not trying to justify the spam, I don't see any links to TCG sites on the landing urls.

The individuals named in the case were Dustin Hamilton, the director of GNV and an officer of GNS and Reflected Networks; Philip Doroff, an officer of Reflected Networks;

I may have misinterpreted that then.

That was on one of the links in the spam, and I see plenty of TCG sites.

That's not true, see the above postings, plus he removed his TopBucks banners once I reported to Jenn about the forum/site.

TeddyRacer,
TCG is very very tough on spam.. We even have afilliates that want
to mail anything sign a long AUP agreement that very few agree to
sign. I am unhappy you didnt get the desired result however feel free
to email me directly and I will look into this immediately for you.

no your wrong, he wasnt sending out the spam and I think he's posted here before about it. A previous version of the spam included personal information, phone numbers etc. it was a joe-job, look up the term

bigjb,

That sounds fair, I had to deal with Jay for the last week, emailing back and worth the wo's and no's of this biz, it's pretty clear that some affiliates are better than others, but definitely I think differently about TCG's spam policies.

Why are you defending that spammer, maybe you are him, and who cares if he puts his mother's maiden name or favorite food in the message, he's a spammer, a low down dirty spammer!

LOL, I am not defending the spammer.. who is obviously pissed off with this guy. If I remember correctly, this person was using hacked adult hosts (thanks to a flaw in MPA2) to send out the spams containing the personal information of PhilUk

If I send out a mass spam saying im TeddyRacer1, does that mean you sent out the spam ??

Point well taken, I just don't think that guy can be trusted, he's using a forum to promote a membership that shares hacked passwords to paysites, which is stealing food from your table or people with paysites!

but your confusing the issue and raised the FTC spam complaint. I was merely pointing out to you that he was NOT guilty of sending spam and was instead a victim of some joe-job, that is well documented here and in many threads .

then you went out to suggest TCG were in some way irresponsible and supporting spammers? yeah right, get a clue

Why would anybody want to waste their bandwidth on a dedicated server in order to spam in someone elses' name, just so he can make more money on his site from the additional traffic, does not make sense at all!

... because the dedicated servers were hacked and sending spam targetted against PhilUK for whatever reason thanks to a flaw in MPA2.. one of the spams included personal information such as phone numbers, wife's name etc. AND WERE SENT OUT TO WEBMASTERS. you acknowledged this in a post above with "Point well taken" so what dont you understand?

I can assure everyone that TCG is not taking bulk mail traffic.

They set the mark and got out of that vector of traffic long ago, and long before everyone else followed their lead.

If you want results at TCG contact BT

122994792 BT will take good care of you.
