Ebay - ever get screwed?

Ever get screwed when you purchase from Ebay? A guy in the office bought some ice fishing gear, the seller lives 20 miles away, and it's been 2 weeks after a $10 shipping charge and still no gear, no response to emails, and the seller has 1800 positive reviews, 6 bad. What's up with that? He should at least have the courtesy to respond to emails.

I got screwed buying the alias one and two season, the guy had a 120 rating, never responded to emails, and ebay finally closed his account.

Nothing major yet. I am sure the odds are against me never getting screwed over on ebay though.

I haven't received some make up I bought for my wife and a tshirt I bought for me. I don't know if they didn't send it or if the products got lost in the mail.

About $70 total with shipping included.

I've been screwed on both stuff I sold and paid for. eBay doesn't do much to help either.

All I ever buy off of eBay are books and I've never had any problems.

Same happened with me. Also, Paypal is the same way. They have policies but credit card companies ahve the final say.

I guess I'm being screwed right now... over $150 (2 memory cards of 1GB each for my Canon). The guy has over 45k feedback score - 99% positive. Tell me about bad luck... the guy doesn't answer emails and I'm waiting for my items for more than 1 month already. Let's see if I can get a chargeback.

Worst problem we've had is a battery for a camera. It looked fine but turned out to be a cheap clone with very little power in it. Unfortunately I'd already rated the guy before I'd realised Other than that we've been lucky but then we do try to be careful and check feedback thoroughly before bidding ie not just that there is positive feedback but where it's come from.

I had to do a dispute to get money back one time because the bitch wouldnt send me shit. She had the nerve to give me a neg feedback after I left one for her. Only way EBay will take off an unjustified neg feedback is if you pay them $20. Fuckers

I tried selling something and no one bid....then after the auction someone emails me and asks if I want to sell it to him for $50.....I said sure and he said he wound send the postal money order before I sent it.......low and behold the little prick didn?t send it and kept pestering me if I had sent the merchandise yet.......naturally after allowing several days to pass without seeing the money order I replied FUCK OFF!!!!

Most of the time people are a tad bid more professional on ebay?..

You can modify feedback, or leave a comment afterwards.
