Must Read - !!! STOP USING IBILL !!!

O. k. time to take some action!

Until Saturday I used numerous ibill sponsors (e. g. Oliver Klozov to name just one). Don't get me wrong they used to convert great (sign ups+rebills) but ibill is extremely unstable for WEEKS now!

So I stopped using all ibill sponsors and switched over to ccbill sponsors. It took me hours to change URLs BUT suddenly I am getting sign ups from these banner spots again :-)

What are you waiting for?!
Let Ibill know WHERE their dollars are coming from!!!
Stop using ibill sponsors immediately!

Any comments welcome...

Good idea! I'm glad you are doing well.

So, on the same note - any (ccbill) sponsors with a "drunk slut" like site?

This is a bullshit post. Ibill has had some technical glitches which are mostly resolved and will be completely resolved in the next week.

Dropping all your IBILL powered sponsors sounds a bit extreme to me.
Every processing company we and/or our clients have dealt with in the past had their problems.

IBILL has proofed themselves to be a stable processor and has been in business for several years, unlike certain processing companies who are currently out of business.

I am sure IBILL will get their things sorted out in a timely matter.

@ Lensman

Just to clear things up:
This thread is not against adult.com or any other sponsor. E. g. everyone can promote drunkslut using your cfm code without any problems.

I wrote this post because ibill did NOT notify us webmasters in any way about their problems. O.k. everyone can have problems, shit happens :-) BUT ibill's problems last for weeks now! There are periods everything works fine (Nov. 1st until Nov. 5th) but then suddenly ibill is fucked up again...

Why don't all sponsors just offer there webmasters two options: Ibill or CCbill? Oxcash is doing it now and all webmasters seem to be very happy with it...

Phill, use partyass.com a new site and not so overexposed it has a great tour and uses globill which is just as good as ccbill.

You are right it sounds a bit extreme to drop all ibill sponsors. But I am not a biggie in this biz - it only took me some hours to replace all ibill revshare codes.

When ibill is stable again I will start using them again. As I have said before: this is not against sponsors - I just don't like ibill's habit concerning this issue...

well as the old saying goes dont put all your eggs in one basket, spread them around, use different processors, I dont get why webmasters dont use Globill?

As mentioned above, you can also use multiple processors so you are not depending on one processor`s performance.

There is nothing wrong with doing that.
Though writing "!!! STOP USING IBILL !!!" is a bit too much, dont you think?

Ibill has always survive when others haven't. Just some growing pains. Though tough to deal with when coming out of a terrible summer slowdown.

Changing your ads will usually result in more signups...

I'm not sure if it's really iBill though -- some iBill programs that I'm using are kicking ass -- some just suck.

@ TheFly

You are definitely right - new sponsors get more sign ups, but I hate nothing more then waiting "everything will be o. k. next week..."

!!!
By the way three days ago I emailed a well known webmaster how he is doing. He told me his ibill revshare sign ups are down by 70% (!!!) for the last weeks!!!
!!!

This post is bullshit.

I get sick of seeing people bitch about the CC processors. Shit, 6 weeks ago they were whining that CCBill didn't convert.

tradermcduck in case you are unaware, what you are saying is ILLEGAL, and you should consult a lawyer before making those kind of statements.

I am neither for or against ibill btw.

I did not know that my post could be considered being "illegal"...

Fact is ibill did not notify webmasters about tech problems (Lensman said "Ibill has had some technical glitches").

@ Lensman
If there is some problem with my post - just delete it - I have no problem with that!

The worst thing you can do as a company is losing contact with your customers. Even if you have built a lot of credits, which often take a very long time to earn, then you can still lose them! And losing them is even much easier then earn those credits from your customers. It can go real quick! Certainly if you don't inform your customers about the problems you have. This is such an important fact that everybody must have heard about it who has done some college or whatever. And it's so easy for Ibill to inform their customers. All accounts do have an email address. It's only typing one message once and press the submit button!!

There are 3 conclusions for me:
1. Ibill has already made enough money and everybody overthere has a fat bank account.
2. There are only working nerds at Ibill without any eduction other than something with computers etc. Hard to believe otherwise they wouldn't have made any errors right now.
3. Nobody can't find the submit button

Well said Maurice!

"There are only working nerds at Ibill without any eduction other than something with computers etc."

From my point of view it seems like ibill thinks their customers are only pay site owners...

It seems that all the processors have problems at one time or another ...

Maybe they're all bad ... LOL

Digital posted an interesting theory on another board ... that once a processor operates well everybody starts using them more ...

But then the processor is overwhelmed and the service starts to decline ... then everybody moves to another processor causing the same problems over and over again ...

I dunno if it's true ... but it's an interesting theory ...

Lensman,

I think you and I would agree that a lot of ibill webmasters have had to put with a lot of their shit.

Im personally surprised that so many webmasters are still with them today. Seriously.

IBill is going to have to suck and kiss a lot of ass to regain confidence in their fucking product again.

I love posts like this.

The more of you lame ass that leave iBill, the more stress that gets taken off them, the better off us remaining at iBill will be.

Go ahead and bite the hand that feeds.

You know it makes me wonder if you looked at any of the other reasons why you may have suddenly started making sales. Sure IBill may have something to do with some of it but you know there are a lot of other factors worth considering... Have you stopped to think about / consider any of them???

tradermc all the ibill members were notified about the problems. Here is a little piece

"iBill apologizes for the technical difficulties you have experienced over the last several days with our payment processing network. Please rest assured that transactions are still being processed through our system. Our extraordinary growth in 2001 has necessitated earlier than anticipated upgrades to iBill's transaction processing system. As a result, iBill is investing an additional $320,000.00 in hardware and software upgrades to boost the performance of our transaction processing servers."

So, ibill is a survivor
