Escort sites, who owns them and how do they make money?

These things are everywhere. They are poorly organized and ugly. I feel like making some just because they really suck dick. The very few that don't look like they were thrown together by an assclown rank very very low in yahoo and google.

So someone explain to me how I can make money doing this.... no seriously, I mean it.

most escorts sites are really fucking shitty. ive wondered the same thing myself about how they make money. one of the ways ive seen are reviews of the escorts listed, and having to join to read the full in depth review.

hahaha... I can say I'm an escort sites pro, I work for a guy in the biz for like 2 years...
I designed few "ugly" sites, feeder pages etc..

they make pretty good money if done right... my buddy has a few.. there's 2 ways of making money with them:

1- the serfer sees all the girls, but to get contact info, they must join
2- the escorts pay to get listed on your site

second one makes good money, anywhere from $50-$300/month, upselling dating does well too... if you're smart you'll use your database and build 2 sites and get both crowds

A friend does both, makes nice bank off of it. Also shoots picts of the girls with their face showing for members only. Makes nice bank off of it. Site is ugly as shit, but it converts and retains.

It's very hard. They get dozens of calls a week from alternative newspapaers, yellow page sales reps, etc. Escorts and Agencies are notorious for being cheap and not paying for advertising. Alot of escorts don't have credit cards, how do you make payment?

I make decent bank a month but it is because of my awesome filtered traffic in certain markets. There are only a half dozen people online only that make real money from escort listings in the U.S. The traffic isn't easy. Can you generate 20,000 uniques a day from a single metro region consistantly?

I know one webmaster from UK, he run an escort site + unswer the calls.
He bring the traffic to the site (webmasters job), but also doing the escort agnecy servers.
He make around 15k from this.
