Damn, that's just what the airlines needed at this time. They're having a tough enough time trying to get people to fly, then something like this happens.

I would imagine its the same reason we didn't have ground level shots for hours when it was the WTC. It is a big plane crashing into a populated area. Do we really need to see people dying? What if it was your wife or husband? Would you want to see that.

Lets just hope there aren't any schools in that area.

So..without jumping to conclusions...the Northen Alliance take a city, we loose an airplane.

No way this is an accident. Just too much of a coincidence that it crashed in new york.

But I think it probably wasn't hijact either, it's checked to much and they wouldn't have had any time it just took off.

Maybe they managed to get a bomb on board or something?

According to CCN there are 2 crashsites.
1 where the engine crashed and 1 where the airplane itself hit the ground......

Man this is so sad!
Realy terrible.

But I think this is an accident.
I don't think it is possible to hijack a plane right now.
Plus if they controlled the plane I think they would go for a big building or a bridge.
The crash happend about 2min. after take off.
Is almost impossible to take control of a plane so fast and escpecialy during take off.

SR, I agree with you. The only 'thing' is that it is near a crowded shopping area.

Probably an accident, it could happen

Giuliani says atleast 12 buildings affected... mostly residential homes i think.. this is truly fucked up.. i dont want to make a decission yet, i hope it is not terrorism .. but either way the airlines are fucked..
eyewitness say it was onfire, maybe an explosian on the left side of the plane before it hit.

SR:

It is not required to actually hijack a plane to bring it down.
Some people are speculating about a bomb, since security after the September 11 attacks on airplanes is too heavy to hijack it. (or at least they say it is)

Well we'r all just guessing of course.
But I think it is an accident.
If an engine is on fire it will explode after all I think.
Lets hope this is just an accident.
It sucks big time anyway.

The flight was delayed 35 minutes, imagine sitting in there wondering why the delay and you go down 60 minutes later too

They do not rule out a terrorist act. How about somebody put a bomb in the engine, is that security also tight? Or did they just focus on the entrance where ppl check in?
