Its been a VERY long time since this industry got together and put on a live radio / net auction of donated goods to raise money for a good cause. I would have to say that the lastest disaster in Asia is worthy of such an event!

I will help coordinate the event if I can get a radio platform to handle it.

Any help, support, or suggestions would be helpful...

I need to come up with the radio show platform and pick a date with them (obviously after the show) Then we'll round up as many donations from folks in the industry (content, advertising, bonuses, services, etc...) and we'll auction them off. I know in the past we've earned well over 1/4 million and I know we can do it again!

After 9-11, the webmaster community (for anyone that wasn't around then) raised somewhere near a half million dollars for relief. It was a tremendous effort and there were some huge donations from several people, Marc De leading the list.

bids on the site will be accepted up until the item is brought onto YNOTRadio for live bidding.. the final bid will be done in the YNOTRadio chatroom
