A small list of Mutual Funds and the % they returned

This is for the year of 01/01/04 to 12/31/04

Gartmore Intl Index Fund A 18.48%
Opp Global Fnd Cls A 18.02%
Franklin BalSheet Inv Fd A 24.62%

If you have Mutual Funds, take a look, and see if these are available to you. They most likely will preform similar this year. There were a bunch of others that did in the 12 to 16% range, but I did not have time to list them.

Very nice. I have some money in a Municipal Bond fund. Doing a nice 6.5% tax free. I may have to look at these for some diversity.

I am with a company that allwos me to move my money from fund to fund with no fee's. So it is great for me.

These were from a end of the year report. As you can see they did well, and Mutual funds are somewhat safer than stocks. But they are not for fast money.

That Franklin fund looks nice for the long term. The others had great returns last year but look a little too volatile for me. Have you looked at Muni Bond Funds before. Getting paid Tax free interest monthly is pretty damn nice. Especially if you are in the higher tax bracket a 6.5% return can really be a 11 to 13% return depending on your tax bracket.
