Why would you use ebay for anything high profile? Seems to me they always get a bunch of idiots putting in fake bids that fucks up the auction.

slavdogg 01-24-2005 01:06 AM

the other high bidder
adq! sells shirts online ?

SleazyDream 01-24-2005 01:10 AM

in case you idiot trolls think it's fake - If i could get wireless.com for a million dollars I've have the money in the sellors' hand in less than a couple of days. (done properly of course, but finding a millon or more for a url like that wouldn't NOT be difficult)

Hey! You'd be surprised, selling those designer Gucci/Diesel shirts. The metrosexuals on this board alone, as his customers could buy wireless.com in 14x monthly revenue.

and xerox let go of the PC

corps aren't that smart and their executives certainly dont trawl ebay for domains

i agree though a company like vodafone could snap it up easily assuming they had the forsight, which begs the question why haven't they yet ?
