Does your bank let you send wires online?

If so what bank/website is it?

No, and I would turn it off if my bank allowed it.

Transfer funds between accounts. But I'm fairly certain wires can only be done by fax, phone or at the bank. Haven't seen that option in any of the online bank control panels I use.

I'd be very cautious and reluctant to allow wires to be sent from an online account. That's got to much potential for zapping if you got hacked.

Yah I agree that's why they limit the amount. Bank of America is huge so I assume that they know what they are doing. Many Floridians have a Bank of America account as they bought our ever so popular Barnette Bank. But since then I can not stand Bank of America. I heard they don't like Adult stuff either.

Would be a cool feature though, if it had the necessary security steps.
Right now all I can do is transfer between accounts.

Royal Bank in canada allows it. They have a two password system.
The first password is one that you make up when you sign up. The other
password comes from the secureID keychain that you have to carry around.

You need an ssl key on the machine you send from, I have used it for over a year and have had zero issues.

I do it through wells fargo. Wires arrive in peoples accounts within minutes after I hit send. No limits or restrictions

You need to have a Commercial Corporate account and also send X amount of wires per month.

There's a limit though, my personal account has a default limit of $AUD1500 per day, which can be raised to $AUD5000 with a code you receive in the mail. This is for transfers between AU banks, and overseas wires. olb has just gone down (what's new) so I can't check the fee, but from what I remember it was only $AUD15 to send an international wire.

BTW, do you deposit o/s cheques at Westpac? If so what sort of fees do they charge? At the moment I can deposit any number of USA cheques for $10, they get cleared on the spot.

Yes they do, but say a place like Latvia, considered high risk they wont send too unless they talk to you and get a verbal OK.
