What kind of monitor do you use: LCD or CRT ?
And which one do you think is easier on the eyes ?
I've had 19" LCD for a year now and my eyes hurt all the time. Thinking about switching back to a good CRT. |

Yeah I thought LCDs were meant to stop them hurting. Maybe you have it set up bad or have bad lighting in your room or something.

i also got that one and it's far better for my eyes than the old CTR sure, eyes can hurt sometimes even with an LCD, so just try to take a break ocassionally and don't sit in front of the pc a few hours even a 3 minutes break, f.e looking outside the window does well for my eyes |

LCD is alot better on the eyes.. you might have the refresh rate set to something weird which is causing the pain. 17" TFT ... saw a nice 20" in the local shops going for $750, I was so close to buying it, but then I remembered that particular model had an issue with dead pixels, nothing would suck more than a TFT with 1 dead pixel =/
