some reason my ratio is 1:5000 !! i donno wtf is going on. but i'm worrying if i keep this up they might not pay me next month, even tho they've been paying me everytime i used them.

anyone ever gotten worst ratios? and gotten paid? i'm starting to worry

you're talking about the "click-pics" and "click-links" programs that pay 4 or 6 cents per click? A 1:5000 ratio is incredible for those. I've made the ratio of under 1:800 for the last 10 months or so, if memory serves. I'm never happy these days if my ratios are worse than 1:500 for any program.

I'd say something's definitely wrong somewhere.

No, I think Lens will pay 4 cents per clickthru no matter what, unless he catches you cheating. Since that hasn't happened, I would suggest revamping the way you promote them. I started using their weekly-updated images on all my sites, with a good mix of banners and descriptive text links, and I've never missed the ratio. It took me a long time to update all my site with the new promotional stuff, but it was worth the effort. I also made an fpa for AP on one of my busiest sites, and that helped out some too.

I guess the word is to try different things until your surfers respond.

If you look on the support section, way back in february or march, there is a couple of guys who had really bad ratio (People geting 2-3 signups a day or more, everyday) not having any signup for a week or so. So your not the first one with a bad week, and definately the last.

Who knows, Tommorow you might get 5 sign up or more, and you'll forget about it.

I have the same kind of worries. Most months I am around 1:600 then I have a crappy month 1:1200. I don't do anything different in how I promote them to get such a wild swing. So I dunno what to say. For example Sept. I was 21:17546 granted from Sept. 1-11 I had 16 signups, from Sept. 12-31 I had just 5. Granted there was some fucked up things happening in the world at the time. So I don't know if the data can be looked at properly. But that is coming off of a month, August, where I was 17:17536.

1 ctc don't count my sign ups--more probable
2 people don't want AP any more--I doubt whether it could happened from the 1 october with every visitor of my pages

I have more radical theory on this:
1. If you promote AP according their rules, you cannot drop under 1:1500, unless they have some signups counting error
2. If you aren't under 1:1500 you'll get into big problems cause they will work hard to find the smallest mistake on your sites to drop you and they'll find it, because there is a big probability you've done some (intentionally or unintentionally, doesn't matter)

Special treatment maybe used on long term affiliates who have had good ratios before, but I am in doubt about 0:4000, that's pretty high.

Anyway my ratio is fine but like the last guy said -- a hot new face can always pull in the signups... AP knows how to run their biz though, but i'd say skip the quantity and go for quality... I get emails from a lot of surfers about specific models (usually it's the same damn model that all the surfers like) -- they say "tell me where I can sign up to see more of her"

Yeah, I have shitty ratios going on to. I'm at a 1:1325 ratio right now. Even my referred webmasters are having a shitty month, usually, they fall within the 1:800 ratio, but as of right now, they're sitting at a 1:1668 ratio, so they're all being hit with a drop off.

I'm in the same troubles. AP is one of my biggest sponsors and my ratio has dropped from 700 last month to 1750 now. The girls at the beginning of Sept. did convert very well, maybe you have to put some of them on your main page again Lensman. Although I think the current babes are hot too. Maybe it's just something else like the stats of CTC. The guys of CTC don't seem to invest a single dollar in their program any longer.....

Oh shit - you're right. My AP ratios are always so damn good that I never even look at 'em. But where they are usually at 1:500 or 1:600, I am currently at 1:1543 !!!

OR perhaps have it where if you hit the ratio last month, you get it this month. I don't know what would happen with the newbies that just started pushing it though.

I think that communication is the best thing because you know that there could be MANY webmasters out there having second thoughts about the program because of their drop in signups. They're probably thinking "those shaving assholes, taking down my signups, so they pay me less". I know that's what i'd be thinking if I wasn't informed on the situation, he he he.

We had some CTC-related tracking issues easrly in the month, the rest of the month has been normal. Of course Ibill outages can effect conversions, but not the reporting of them. We have implemented an automatic switchover system to handle processor outages and next month will have other alternatives as well.

If someone fell under 1:800 because of the beginning of the month, we will honor it.

Does this mean that if for the month I am
1:1300
but for the first 7 days I am 1:3000
for the second week I am 1:1800
and the rest of the month I am almost 1:800

I'm close to getting my bonus now because I've gotten some signups in the last part of the month, but I went like 20 straight days with no signups in spite of the fact that I've sent an increased amount of traffic to AP this month. We're not talking a huge amount of money here, but some. Enough to pay for my internet access for the month I'd bet.

I think I should switch from pay per click to partnership. I tried it a while back, had a few sign up, and everymonth the rebills are still here. I have tried a lot of programs, but I must admit that AP converts best for me. 100% of my traffic is search engines. Only 15000 per day but good convertions with free programs.

Ram said that I didn't qualify for the bonus because for the second half of the month, I gave a 1:855 ratio. Even though I though I hit the ratio every month except for once or twice since the bonus started.

I guess that I won't be able to buy my wife or kids any Christmas presents because I was counting on that bonus. They'll probably disown me and kick me out of the house.

So, it should pretty much be announced for everyone that from the Octover 15th on, you have to hold a 1:800 ratio instead of just saying that the ratio will be bent because people get their hopes up, only to be shot down, ha ha ha.

Slick, in Sept, you barely had 1:800, it was like 1:790 or something I recall Ram showing me. So it's not surprising that you were 1:855 in Oct., after all, think about the iBill problems, etc.

I have no complaints, I was just messing with ya in the previous post. I know that there have been some close months, but there was a time when I was hitting 1:550 ratios earlier in the year. The last few months have been a lot worse for my ratios. I guess that I'll just have to work on it here.
