anyone know of a script that i could install and put up a few templates and then allow users to come along sign up and create their own personal page online. kind of like what geocities does for yahoo but not exactly. i just want to be able to have maybe 5 templates and then allow users to generate their own pages from them.

Thanks man, yeah it's not loading for me either but I'll have to check it out and see if I can get it to eventually load since it sounds a lot like what I want.

Can you give me an idea of exactly what you're looking for and what it will have to handle? I've been considering writing something like this. I probably would not be able to get anything together in time for your use on a current project but I am still interested in specs.

Basically what the software he posted says it does. I want someone to be able to come to the site and signup for their own page. They would be able to then login and choose from a few templates as far as layout styles, and then they would be able to edit their own text, pics and colors into the page and then publish, the script would then generate a folder for them on my domain say mydomain.com/bob/index.html or whatever.

I suppose I could also use maybe a nice template that matched my theme done in Flash of a gallery with a text page as well that I could just drop the text and photos into myself and upload. I'll have to look for that too.
