It's gotta be kinda hard to convert with spam that looks like it was written by a special olympics castoff.

True, but it's easier to convert gimpspeak than convert something that the target never sees 'cuz it's been filtered away silently.

just thinking of the billions of spam emails that are sent out in that style eg. M0r.tgage just to catch a dozen or so poor suckers, what a waste of bandwidth.

I already have over 250 block mail 'rules' trying to filter this crap out.
