    Whats a .net when picking a domain

    I found a domain i like but the dot com is taken

    Now i dont plan on getting it for the typein traffic or whatever but would it be okay to take the .net

      you will lose some traffic to the .com but why not

              you could still lose traffic from surfers that remember the name but not the .net when returning but depends on what the site is and for

                          Use a brandable .com.

                          Try to repeat the starting letters of words, however that can be difficult at times.


                          I would highly discourage using a .net.
