Anyone collect baseball cards or other trading cards in here?

I was just thinking man i miss my baseball cards that i sold years ago to go to florida for vacation

I had tons of Jordans, Reggie Jackson 2nd year, Dr. J 2nd year, Roger Clemens rookie just to name a few.

I think I'm going to start a collection again.

i have a TON of collector's baseball cards (from HOFers to the early 90s)... and some good hockey ones too, like Patrick Roy rookie and Mario 2nd year.

most in screw cases - so you know they're mint

i'll be back in MTL next week, so i could take pics for you and make some kind of bulk deal

Which card is that? There are so many /25 cards and 1/1 cards out there these days the prices are really dropping on them.

When i was a wee lad, I had almost all of the Star Wars comics, the first few X-Men and a bunch of other comics. I don't even want to know what they would have been worth today ....

Thank god, I kept my hockey cards, Gretzky, Bourque, Messier etc. etc. and a few good baseball cards too all safely in storage.

One day I'll show my grandkids and they'll say "nice, grandpa .. but who the f**k is Wayne Gretzky"

Back in the day I collected/traded. Still have them somewhere around here. I guess my most marquis cards are the rookie cards for Carl Yastrzemski, Whitey Ford, and Tony Gwinn. One of these days I'll have to brush off the dust and check them out again.

HAHA who the fuck told you just because it was #5 you multiply it by 6? That is so dumb, some player collectors pay more for #ed cards to the players jersey but kobe's # is 8....

I got boxes and boxes of 'em. Most aren't worth much and the ones that are worth something won't make me rich, lol.

I also have signed, postmarked envelopes... signed and numberd lithographs and a few baseballs. Never got into football, basketball, hockey, etc. Just baseball.

I started working in baseball card shops when I was 10 years old full time. By 13, I was raking in the dough. I have worked in about 4 different shops and have about 100,000+ cards.

Funny, I was just about to put 4 cards on Ebay tonight, they are sitting here on my desk:

1956 Topps Mantle NM
1954 Topps Ernie Banks RC NM
(2) 1968 Topps Johnny Bench RC both NM

I would sell everything, but it's a pain in the ass. Might just get a booth at a convention and off it all.
