nah i recon it must be your slow dial up, i got adsl its fine.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Doubt it's bandwidth, but rather DB load...
vBulletin is a great software, but getting it optimized can be a challenge - in addition, there is a performance issue with PHP 4.3.10 / 5.0.3 due to a bug in unserialize() function ... see http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=31332 for details.
