Embedded 1-movie galleries (problem)

Why does browsers crash on embedded .wmv movie galleries.
I have this problem with my firefox, but not with IE. I'm scared to send traffic to choker etc since I don't want my surfers to crash their browsers.

What causes the crashing, and is there a safe way of doing embedded moviegalleries?

I've noticed that as well. I haven't done any research to see if anyone has come up with a solution (or cause for that matter), but I have noticed it seems to crash with larger files. It may be a problem with the way firefox handle's microsoft's media player plugin. Sorry I couldn't help more, other than this bump.
