50 fat people...

Up here it is primarly obese people, but we do get the occassional temporary gimp with full privledges.

As a matter of fact I do not drink or smoke...But I have no problem with smokers, drinkers long as they do not drive...this is america right? Smokers are persecuted like they have the fuckin black plague. If you don't like the smell you walk away, you don't pass a law that stops them from doing it because you don't like it.

I am not asking them to outlaw fat for christ sakes, all I am asking is that if you are overweight, have some common curtesy and stop thinking your special. That goes for smokers, or anything else as well (see my other rants ex: https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/418925-assholes-line-7-11-rant.html).

From what I gather ray isnt saying that we should tar, feather and chastize all fat people in general. Just those who use thier obesity as a "jump in front of the line-free" card or use thier weight as an excuse to get the placard. My doctor, who I know personally, would never give anyone who was morbidly obese a handicapped placard just because they were overweight. They would have to have a legitimate reason to get one and in fact in the state of Arizona the law says:
An Authorized physician must attest in writing to the DMV that the "Physically disabled person" means a person who, as determined by a hospital administrator or authorized physician, meets any TWO of the following conditions:

(a) Cannot walk two hundred feet without stopping to rest.


(b) Cannot walk without the use of or assistance from any brace, cane, crutch, other person, prosthetic device, wheelchair or other assistive device.


(c) Is restricted by lung disease to such an extent that the person's forced respiratory, expiratory volume for one second, if measured by spirometry, is less than one liter, or the arterial oxygen tension is less than sixty mm/HG on room air at rest.


(d) Uses portable oxygen.


(e) Has a cardiac condition to the extent that the person's functional limitations are classified in severity as class III or class IV according to standards set by the American heart association.


(f) Is severely limited in his ability to walk due to an arthritic, neurological or orthopedic condition.

See I gotta even agree here..and thats odd for me. I publish an adult BBW magazine and run an adult BBW web site. I dont see the allure in pic #2 ( I dont know that person) nor would I print a picture like that in my magazine. Whereas in Pic #1...Carrie makes me drool. I know her personally. the handicap decals are supposed to be given to people that are PHYSICALLY handicapped. NOT sick due to cold or some stupid shit like that.
