Across all of our paysites, since 95, we have spent $0 on plugins, or feeds, and still average 4 month retention.

The more content a site has, the less need for plugins. Eventually, you will have more content in the members area than the average surfer needs for multiple jackoff sessions. After that, a plugin becomes an unnecessary expense.
