If you know nothing about html, THIS is the place to start. It's really not that hard once you get the basics down.

Web Monkey I started out using Notepad and not an HTML editor. Back then, this is one of the places I learned from. Haven't been there in ages and I just went to see if it still existed and it does.

and for HTML editors (other than notepad) I recommend Macromedia Dreamweaver, or even better Macromedia Homesite (for us ol' school folks). If you learn HTML outside of a graphical editor and actually learn the tags, your gonna increase yer skoolin'
