To anyone that lost money in a vending machine

Coca-Karma
This morning I went to buy a coke from a vending machine and the credit read 79.05 I proceeded to press the coke button and the machine spat out 60 dollars or so in change like a fucking las vegas slot machine which I proceeded to put in my backpack.
I now have a backpack full of change, So if you have lost money to a vending machine I have your lost funds and will spend it ridiculously in your honour, if you have lost money twice to the same machine I have no sympathy for you.

My friend showed me atrick on those machines once.. get a gallon jug f water and some surgical tubing and feed the tubing down the slot and let the water rip.. the water will trigger the little handle that flips when a quarter goes past it. So you can fill it with credits then press the button and you get a coke and all the change the machine has

On the old telephone booths you could yank out one of the wires and it wouldnt give any change until you attached the wire again.. so you could sit and wait at a busy phone booth and reconnect the wires and get back all the money..

I would guess that the machine doesn't belong to Coca Cola...they don't even make coke themselves, they just sell syrup to independently owned bottlers and other distributors. The vending machine owner may be some poor schmuck who invested his life-savings in a five-machine vending business figuring it would be easy money, only to find the machines suck ass and randomly spit out his monthly profits to lucky customers like you. Or perhaps the machine belongs to an axe murderer who was going to use the profits to buy more axes. You'll probably sleep easier believing the latter. :-)

That happened in high school like 5-6 years ago... the vending maching just went nuts and started shooting all of its change out, of course it was full after lunch at a school... a lot of change came out of it... people were filling their shoes and such with it. They all got in trouble, which blows, because when it would eat your money the school would tell you it wasn't their machine and they couldn't do anything about it.
