Dealing with server attacks
So how do folks here deal with it when their servers are attacked? Any suggestions on what to do to be better protected?

server security, or DOS attacks?
you could setup firewall rules and filter out the ips, and drop the packets. so they cant reach your server. security wise. have someone audit your server(s) to make sure you are patched up

For dos attack .. youd have to have the hardware firewalls.
these are advanced machines that cost upwards of $75,000 each. As for all sort of other brute force attacks and etc.. firewalls should do it. |
