I used to own a house in Kentucky but I sold it to move back up north to help my mother out after she had an operation. I'm moving back their next month though to a new house and hope to buy a few investment proerties.

i'm just renting right now. i'm looking into getting my own house after this lease is up in about 6 months though. then hopefully from there, fix it up, rent it out, and get a nicer house for myself to live in. repeat cycle.

Investment wise its great, but I seriously need to buy a house. I can't decide which city I want to live in yet though which is my major drawback. That and the US -> CDN dollar is too painful to do for a downpayment on a house.

It's really lonely in Waterloo. All my friends moved out once we all graduated so I'm kinda stuck on my own here which is why I didn't want to buy a house quite yet. Once I buy one, I want to settle down in that city for a while and I'm not sure Waterloo is going to be that place just yet.

My cousin's wife works for the bank. They're in the shittiest of neighborhoods. I don't even go near them.

The same cousin manages the properties and tenants are placed by social services and the checks from from the state or county.

I live at home for no other reason then I like living in a family unit and lived on my own for 10 years and found it lonely....I turned the basement into an apartment.

I own 2 investment properties. One is Section 8 with 6 apartments or rooms
and one has 3 apts. With Section 8 the rent is always paid. My dad has been doing low income investment proerties for a while I just follow his lead.
