My Wife Wont Drive A Hummer. I failed.. But What About this car???

Well I failed and failed bad trying to convince my wife she needed a hummer as a new car.. She actually got pissed and called me selfish for trying to push something on her that I wanted..

WTF?????? Women......

Ok.. She doesnt want an SUV. We already have one, and I guess there is some unwritten rule you cant have more than one. And we already have a 2 seater sportscar (Corvette).. Cant get anymore of those.

So im trying to convince her on a car other than the ones she's suggested.. I dont want to look like a faggot as i drive down the street when I borrow her car.

Anyone own a Chrysler 300C?????? They look kinda sweet.
There is a new one cumming out in Spring of O5 with some nice specs on it..
I like it really..

Check it out.. Its the 300C SRT8!
Its a 6.1 Liter 425 horsepower Hemmi V8..
http://www.chrysler.com/300/300c.html

She wants an Audi, or a BMW 5 series.. I cant handle that..
I want something that not everyone in the world in our neighborhood has.

This 300C SRT8 looks cool. I wont get the regular 300 or 300C, but this new SRT8 looks sweet!

What do you think?

Way too boxy looking for my taste...I like my cars sleek, and more rounded. But hey, if I was trying to get my women to agree on a car then I'd push for something like that too.

If it's 'her' car to drive, why not make her happy and get what she wants?

We plan on starting a family soon, so thats why I thought another SUV would be sweet.. I mean whats better to haul a new baby around than a hummer right?? Well she doesnt see that I guess. She wants a car..

If we get a car I want something big enough, and this thing seems big..

I looked at the 5 series BMW and you cant even fit Golf clubs in that piece of shit.... How the fuck can you fit baby strollers and shit in there.

Fuck that car... And the Audi, same thing..

I say its the Hummer or this 300 SRT..

Im the man, i think i need to tell her who the boss is!

Hell yes Bone. Im getting one this spring no doubt about it. Been down to the dealership a couple of times the last couple of months trying to decide between Black and White. Think White is going to be the way to go. Blacked out windows, customize the grill (replace tacky stock plastic), and throw some 22' on and it's a Bently. First passenger car I have been excited for since the old body style Eclipse's.

The inner hippy in me cries at the thought of using as much gas as a Hummer needs to get around...And well beyond that, my pocketbook cries too.

Most likely thats what will happen. But I just want to "influence" her on other cars that may be good...

She doesnt know anything about cars really. One month she likes one car, the next month she hates it and likes something else..

Im just trying to throw another option into her train of thought..

Problem is this car is not very "girlie".. So its gunna be kinda tough..

Again, the cars she likes are way too small. And we are talking about starting a family, so I can see her getting something now, small like she likes, then bitching next year this time wanting something big!!

So this car came to mind..

kids with a 2 -door... blah!.. its more than a pain in the ass trying to hold a car seat with diaper bag while holding the seat back so you can try to climb your whole body back there and put in the car seat and child..

i guess practical is out of the question..lol. I myself would love a little subaru outback. but I need my 4 wheel drive.

In fact she said she would if I went out and bought one without her permission..

ITs become a pretty big deal.

I was deciding on either the 300C SRT8 or the Dodge Magnum RT with the 5.7 Liter Hemi

So i decided on both as i'm going to update 2 of my vehicles this year.

Out of my budget, and truthfully I dont really like the look of the H3..

At the moment H2 are pretty affordable.. Especially the 2 year old used ones..

I came real close to pulling the trigger and getting one.. Real close.

Ah, I was in one of the cheapest ones (the cheapest one with leather, I dunno if theres a cloth version) and it was nice.

If you're going to pay another 20k.....might as well get a hummer.....oh yea.

Seems to me you win with either the 300 or the H2. Have you had your wife test drive the H2 yet? It's definetly a car that should be experienced. I love how substantial yet agile my H2 feels.

Or maybe you can use the old "safety" for the family line. I think I would rather be in an H2 than a passenger car if it comes down to a collision/accident

Come purchase my Hummer it's 2003. 12k miles. Never been driven off of pavement and never had one drop of rain on it's paint. It's washed once a week by a professional auto detailer and waxed regularly

Im getting rid of it in the spring anyhow.

I want one sooo bad..

I think i need to let her cool off and then maybe talk her into test driving one.

Shes so anti-suv.. She loves fast little cars.... SHes very very aggressive at the wheel, driving my SUV drives her nuts.. You have to be a chilled out layed back driver to enjoy driving large SUVS..

She's the kinda gal that loves taking corners fast and handling..

Again, if we have a kid, you cant do that shit anymore anyhow..

But talking her into getting any kind of SUV is gunna be a challenge.

Can I ask why you and many H2 owners are unloading??

Seems like a lot of you are unloading as of late.... ITs making for a good buyers market on em no doubt..

What are you and the typical H2 owners seeking instead?? Cars??

My bike sits in the small part of the 3 car garage, my 4x4 sits outside, the wifes ride occupies half of the 2 car slot, and the other slot is reserved for my C6 vette or new Viper or whatever I decide to get this summer.

I didnt like the van at first, but the thing is loaded to the max, full leather, dvd players, nice sound system, and it rides so smooth... I still wont drive it though.
