Any poker pro's around here?

People that spend 30hrs+ a week playing live, or online... and actually net a decent amt of profit?

We should get a ring together.

Im up $2.2k this week on PP and PS... At around 22bb/100 on NL this month... had some decent luck. =)

I gave up PP for a while, until I bought that $75 from ya.... turned it into 995, and cashed out. in a day. =P

I play on avg 2-3 live games a week or so... $30-50 buyin, with rebuys...

Cash out 70% of the time or so, top 2....

live is alot more fun than online... Thinking of taking a weekend next month to vegas for some games there again.

Or Small Stakes Holdem by Ed Miller & David S.... Both great books

Almost daily multi table tournament poker
Had a very good December 1 win, twice second and 7 other final table placements.
Only playing $20 and $30 tournaments but it was still a very very good month
This month so far haven´t been good so far .

I can bet that. You get your cash in your hand in seconds. If I gonna play live games then I play omaha or omaha hi lo. You get drawn out much less... but No Limit Holdem is the game for tournament poker. I cant play limit holdem live games. I get bored too easy and tilt tilt tilt

I went from 100 to 313,000 satoshis in 2 days! Lots of daily freerolls...

I usually play on the prima poker networds, or on empirepoker, if I play empire I do mostly $20-30 sit and go tournaments.....

or Party Poker/Empire Poker... I get a rakeback at EP, so... Ive been playing there lately... Perfect mix of fish and.... well, fish. =P

The SNG's are too slow for me... I can do $500-900/day in profit off the 100 NL games, if I'm lucky... and I use Pokertracker to watch the games first... so I know who Im up against.

hmmm.. i played on PP a while ago, i made $1k from $100, but after that week i lost it, it's like they capped my account by no metter what I had someone always had better... now I wanna play again ;p

you think party poker is fair and they dont cheat or anything like that ?

it's great. =) will let you keep track of 1000's of players, and their statistics... how much they enter the pot, how aggressive they are... etc. etc. Helps you make decisions against them.

It helps my game directly too.... shows what hands I lose most with, and how much Im making per 100 hands, etc. etc.

I get some serious runs of cards.... if Im not getting em, I play tighter or leave the game for a while.

PP isn't bad... I don't necessarily trust them wholeheartedly... but overally, they aren't too bad.

I switch between them and empire (same players), regularly, just to get off one skin, and into the other.

You just have to play pretty tight on party, because of all the loose ass games.

Loose games, play tighter... tight games, play looser.

Yep, I worked $20 to $170 in one day from a freebie i got from PP. I played Pot limit 0.25/0.50 blinds. I thought I was going to make poker my full time job after that day. The other day I was constantly outdrawn and got second highest hand etc. Guess I played a little too many hands because of frustration. But Its like they made a mouse-trap to see if you could keep your head high and fold when you dont have a winner before show down. You better play tight, only the best hands.

I went from 100 to 313,000 satoshis in 2 days! Lots of daily freerolls...
