Why is Epassporte charging me $5.00 per $100 deposit?

So what's the deal? Why they can't charge a fix amount no matter how much or little I deposit! It's not like the more I deposit, the more it cost them!

Actually, if you are loading (not depositing into) your ePassporte account with a credit card, it does cost us more. The cost is based upon a percentage of the amount you charge on your load card.

The fee is $5 per $100, as you said. If you wire transfer in, for a Business Account, it is only the cost of a wire charged by your bank and ours, about $35.

When you transfer to another ePassporte cardholder you are able to send as much or as little as you wish for $0.25 per ePass for Personal Accounts and $2 for Business Accounts.

Compare all of our fees with ALL of any competing product's fees and we are cheaper, as far as I know.

Hope this answers your question.

I´ve had plenty of problems with epassporte. At the beginning their customer support was great, once I called their bluff on a problem they won´t respond emails nor return calls. If you try and use it to withdraw or spend in other currencies, they screw you with the exchange rate...
