                                  They wore trashy gold chains and various other "bling" to make themselves look more wealthy than they actually are, and as a result, real wealthy people don't want gold anymore because gold's image is now associated with trashy rappers and wannabe hip-hop one hit wonders.

                                                                                                      I have noticed a lot of the bigger rappers slowly got out of gold and went to diamonds. If they ruin the value of diamonds they I will be really impressed.
