Good tips. Any affiliate program I use allows that, it's a little frightening to thing that some program owners would block/not pay on sales from clicks through domains other than the ones you provide (other than PPC sponsors). :(

Just something to look for in the TOS when you sign up and asking them to make sure is a good way to get started with them.

If the FPA has seo friendly links, you would have to plan out how your going to deal with if they get indexed or not. Would have to decide which way would work best for you.

You could do that but what I actually meant was grabbing the tour from the sponsor and hosting it yourself and linking to their join page. This way, you can edit the layout and anything else you want. One great way to increase conversions is to stick the keyword the surfer searched for from a search engine directly into the tour. At the same time, you now control the exits and every aspect of editing the tour possible...

Okay, I completely understand that, I have done that myself many times.

WG is right .
There is no money in SEO. :(

the guys at JupiterResearch think web ads will outpace magazine ads in 2007.
http://searchenginewatch.com/searchd...le.php/3459961
According to Stein, "Online advertising will overtake magazine advertising in 2007" - when total online ad spending hits $13.8 billion, or 6.0% of off-line ad spending.

and a large chunk of that is search ads
"Paid search will continue to grow faster than any other sector of online advertising, increasing from $2.6 billion in 2004 to $5.5 billion in 2009," he said. While "paid search growth remains strong," he added it "is beginning to slow."

and the guys at JupiterResearch said at last years NYC SES that 5 out of 6 purchase which originated from search came from the free / organic listings.

goes off to figure out how there is no money in SEO...
