Anybody having surround sound problems with xp?

Only problem i have had so far with xp.
Anyone have the same problem / have a solution to fix it?

For some reason, only 2 of my 4 speakers play sounds. Win 2000 had no problem with 4 speakers, but XP only wants to make (2) of my speakers work. I have checked the sound settings / speaker settings and set it to surround sound, but no luck, anybody have the same prob?

Are you sure that it's XP and not your sound card drivers ??? Maybe you have an incompatable sound card driver on your system. Just a thought. I have a nice sound system on my system and it works perfectly fine with XP.
