ive had it with webair - spam me decent webhosts

ive been down for over 24 hours now, spoken to numerous webair tech guys for hours on end, no ticket updates. im switching. guess you get what you pay for.

if anyone knows a decent virtual hosting company, that can offer me a good deal, fairly cheap to host approx 15 domains then let me know cheers.

I have both webair and phatservers and although webair has live support all the time, nothing really gets done... phatservers on the other hand have great support, even if i only use the email support.

Umm I find it hard to believe Webair has let a server stay down for 24 hours...

Has anyone heard of picking up the phone for support? Everyone wants to sit there and use the ticket system...Instead of simply picking up the phone and talking to a live person...

I've had very good results with Webair...Like I said I find it hard to believe this is true...

The 11 post count really doesn't setup much of a backing of the accusation...

Just my 2 cents...

I'm not sure what happened, but I'm putting my five cents in. (Inflation, you know.)

I've never used webair. However, when something happens, I've heard several people talk about things getting fixed with a simple phone call. Even if you can't seem to get things done online, Dr. Bell did do us a favor with his invention of the phone.

If you just wanted another hosting company, you need not have dissed the one you're currently using. Just switch. Simple as that. If you needed references, you could have just asked without the story.

well at international rates if i was on the phone to them as long as i was online talking to someone using the live help then it would have costed me very great deal of money. dont assume i am from america.

Well why didn't you pick the phone up and call them? They do have a toll free #. I have been happy with them for years and had very few pobs and when I did have a prob all I had to do was call, things were fixed right there. One of the traits I have is loyalty, so when I see bad talk about Webair I have to step in.

Every host has trouble now and then, even a big reliable host like webair.
Hosting isnt 100% and never has been.

you should always have a backup no matter who you are with!

I like webair. So far they are a good host. They are very fast at responding. But not sure how good they are on the tech side.

Ive had a couple Important main issues that they havnt been able to fix yet in months. Plus the email for one site or another of my seems to go down on a weekly basis, But apart from that the uptime is second to none.
