Check out my new coffee maker :-)

Just got it today. It grinds the beans and uses a carafe - I made my second pot three hours ago and it's still steaming hot and fresh. Has a charcoal water filter built in and a permanent filter for the grounds. This thing rocks! It's also quiet when it grinds. I'm so wired.

I'm a coffee junkie. I'm drinking Costa Rican Peaberry right now..

Really can't smell it until you pour a cup. The carafe lid seals really well. It's a super solid system. $109.00 at Gevalia.com. I never thought I'd spend that much for a coffee pot!

For me, it's worth it

yeah - there's nothing worse then burned, re-heated coffee! Plus I can take the carafe upstairs to my office :-)
