It's possible but I don't currently know of any evidence of their transfer. Intelligence has been murmuring about it since the invasion.

I think that this is potentially a very big issue. Not because the US is in danger of having a rival in the world because that will happen regardless of Europe selling weapons to the Chinese.

I predict that a US reaction will involve militarizing Japan again and selling them all of our best weapons (not that they don?t already have great weapons). We?ll negate our treaty with Japan and we?ll have an Asia that is armed to the teeth. Sounds fun doesn?t it? :disgust

Correct, but the Chinese don't play fair, and the US is letting them get away with it as the US needs cheap imports. Just like the US is not doing what they could to cut the inflow of illegal aliens from Mexico, because the US needs cheap labor.
It's all about trade off's.
