Reflected's got my support as well.
Count me in as another satisfied customer with no plans to leave. :thumbsup

frankfortuna 01-13-2005 03:39 PM

We've got about 20 servers over there, so of course we had some concerns. Phil put me in touch with their attorney yesterday and I now fully understand the situation and have no concerns whatsoever. We will remain a satisfied Reflected customer.

I'm with reflected too and they have been great to me from Day 1.

Every business has its dramas and they only make the business stronger.
I see reflected surving this and being a stronger company on the other side.
And hey, as mentioned above - customers remaining loyal will not be forgotten.

Saying that, it's always good to have backups - no doubt about that. but you should have backups no matter what host you are with!

justsexxx 01-13-2005 04:25 PM

Well if I was you I would make daily backups, and prepare everything on a different server, so in case you can move...

WTFRC, Inc

WTFRC is an interesting name for a company here in the states.

Thanks for all the love, everyone! You're right when you say we're stronger - we have a new relationship with Dell for servers, we're using premium bandwidth, and have significantly beefed up our NOC staff over the last month.

Again, if you have any questions whatsoever, you can feel free to write me at daniel at reflected dot net. As frankfortuna said, we have very good attorneys working on the case, and we (the owners of Reflected) are in no way involved in the suit.

Oh, and somebody did post it here, but my copy of our customer letter which I referred to above is here:

You should make a backup copy at the very least, not next week, but now. That I can assure you is a move you can never go wrong with.

Isnt WFRC part of the Austrailian porn mafia?

It's WTFRC, Inc. and I don't know why that name was chosen by the old owners... I know what the WTF part is, but RC? I didn't really care, as long as it wasn't "Reflected Networks, Inc." anymore. I assumed the company would be closed up and dissolved with the Nevada Secretary of State post-closing.

Google does reveal a previous action by the FTC or some government agency against a "W.T.F.R.C. Pty. Ltd." in like 1999, but it's not the same company as the NV corp which I referred to above, or bought Reflected.net from.

The reference on SPAMHAUS where they linked Phil to the W.T.F.R.C. Inc. isn't entirely accurate, as it's not the same company (go figure I'd be saying that)...

But most importantly neither company is mine, and neither is doing business as Reflected Networks, Inc. or Reflected.net.

well in your situation i would say move but you need a backup because shit happens and you dont want to loose everything if it does

See Cig 01-13-2005 09:34 PM

chowda 01-14-2005 11:17 PM

Reflected Network's Contacts

I had ran into a few of the guys from Reflected Networks pool side at internext. But since it was pool side, the business cards I got kinda got wet. Opps. If anyone out there that deals with them, could get me some contact info, that would be awesome!
