... the content for sure looks (too??) great. lets say you´ll get 30k uniques to that siet and the surfers view 5 oics or so ... you´ll be looking at something like 10GB bandwith (5*50k + indexpage ... correct me if I am wrong), that´ll cost you round about $15 ... and hopefully you´ll be making ONE sale, so in the end it will make you money, and I am too sure that gallery will get listed ... but like the others said, you´ll probably get worse than 1% clickout to banners, and therefore you´ll need even more traffic to get ONE sale ... it´s always pretty hard to tell, do a test ... and let us know how you did ...

Compress images and make the banners and text stand out more. They are a bit static. Try some mouseover style things. Use the opposite colors (blue & red) in text and use tables to make them stand out even more.

Once again do I wear my golden pilot shades and the gold chains.

compression: fireworks works best for me.

money: if you have almost 120k in traffic and manage 1% clickout you should get something like 1.5 joins on average ... $60 (minus $30 bandwith) will leave you with $30 ... my estimates ... amazing isn´t it, some lousy $30 out of 120.000 users. average that on SE traffic and you´ll be a hero !!

seems like a waste of real good content to me.why dont you sharpen those thumbs a notch. J4F stoped makeing good money 6 months ago and some tgp want post you because of the popups. With that sort of content I go for a glamor paysite.

Ivan, this is what I was too lazy to write last night...

1.) Go read this article by Magnatique, particularly part 4 - The Design. It'll give you good ideas on how/where to integrate the ads for your sponsors and the thumbnails on the page.

2.) Go to whatever TGPs you'll be submitting to and checkout the first 10 galleries listed. That'll give you a sense of what types of galleries they list and soon you'll start to notice the difference between good galleries, average galleries, and bad galleries.

3.) Look at everything from the surfer's point of view. What's the first thing that catches your attention when you view the gallery? In the gallery above it's the THUMBS because you're using really nice content - but that won't make you money. You want the first thing they notice to be your ADVERTISEMENT. That's not to say you should bury the thumbs at the bottom of the page under a full-page ad, just that you should work text & graphics relating to your sponsor into the gallery as well. (Standard 468x60 banners won't do the trick.)
