Ibill legal information

Guys, I am posting this to this forum first, but will be posting on others as well.

I just got off with the florida attorney general, they have had other complaints but cant do anything till others call. So if ibill is holding your money, please call:
1-866-966-7226

They are taking information but need more people to complain. They are also giving out other places to call:

Broward County Consumer Office
954-765-5350

BBB of Broward County
561-842-1918

If you guys need to contact me, please do so.. Also, please try to keep this bumped as this is very important for ibill webmasters.

Thanks

fidel - lol... i dont actually sell smut though.. i used ibill for other things. and i dont think they care about me as an individual but me and 100 other people, they would care about.

im just trying to get people to do something instead of sitting on their hands and waiting.. either way we are gonna get f'ed but if we can bring the jerkoffs that work there down, all the better.

i am actually thinking of sueing my account rep. i have every email he ever sent and he states i will get paid and when.. i would love to do it, but im not sure if i can...

Because its so transparent these posts of these people that came out of nowhere. Also they are trying to pay unlike others that just disappeared is your memory that short. Maybe thats why the others just disappeared instead of trying because they knew how long webmaster loyalty lasts.

Yeah well...

I dont see how tony is getting THIS positive about the situation - cant really find any good reasons to...on the other hand, declaring it all dead and gone is probably/hopefully to soon, although it aint looking good. There´s still room for hopes on behalf of ibill and our cash...and i dont see how bringing on attorney generals would help. What could possibly be obtained? (except maybe the satisfaction of winning/getting them declared bankrupt/sending someone off to do time???)

Guess...in lack of better options, i keep waiting...

My point exactly. You will not get paid unless you continue doing business with them. Companies cannot force you to do business with them by withholding funds. This is reason enough to file a complaint with the AG.

You can always report them to these agencie's.

They take a while to get to your complaints but it may be the only avenue since they seem to be so arrogant about what they owe to webmasters.

http://www.ftc.gov
PH: Phone complaint center 1-877-382-4357

IFCC: http://www.ifccfbi.gov [on line submittle only]

Also file a complaint with the local FBI in the town they are located in.
I think with all the people that are owed these agencies will take note and maybe an investigation could be imminate.

Pursueing a lawsuit will cost you ALOT more than is already owed to you or others and this is probably the reason they are acting the way they are. They know you wont sue so you are stuck with the catch22 situation.

They wont act so arrogant with the agencies listed above. I don't use ibill so I don't know the full story...execpt that alot of people are being misled with promises of owed money and thats not right.

Good luck to all that are owed money.

You seem to be a nice person that just wants the monies due them. The stance here, for those who are hanging on to hope, is a "wait and see" one.
Funds prior to Sept, are mostly written off as a loss with the exeption of a come back on ibills part. I wish you the best.

I disagree with this wait and see attitude. Unless they are forced to pay they will think they can get away with this shit. Ibill is a public company and an investigation by any government agency is the last thing they want and it may be what it takes to light a fire under their ass. If their management has been found to negligent in their dealings then they have to deal with lawsuits from their shareholders. I say its time to fire a few shots across their bow and let them know we're not fucking around anymore.

You cannot force someone to pay you what they don't have. If they go under you will see zero. If they chapter 11 you may see 10-15 cents on the dollar, and that's IF you file. Your attitude is wishful thinking at best.

If they are trying to pay, which seems to be the case. Then getting them more problems wont help you get paid but is just as likely to hinder you. Especially if they dont have the money. If they dont have it whatever you do meens you wont get it unfortunately

i don't think that there people just suddenly "came out of nowhere", we've seen this very thing happen before here on GFY Tony... remember way back in Oct of '02, when the great VISA scare began? GFY was suddenly *flooded* w/ new, low post-count users, all wondering about their money and continued collection thereof... exact same thing when GloBill fled w/ the cash, lots of newish users posting often and vehemently about their owed funds...

i think when people suddenly are getting screwed or worried about their money, a lot of them go from silent lurkers to vocal questioners here, no surprise there... just look at my signup date, look familiar? the VISA scare is what had me find my way to GFY the first time as well..

With all due respect Tony - the world of webmastering does not revolve around a post count on GFY - It never ever did.

The simple fact of life is that there are FAR more webmasters earning from relatively small amounts to more higher values then ever have posted on GFY.

Apart from a few that do post - the vast majority I know of have never posted on GFY and rarely, if ever, even looked at GFY in the time they have been operating - and that has been back to 1995-96 in several instances.

None of these people are the slightest bit interested in your constant theme of "It must piss you off they are still around. The only people to gain from the demise of iBill would be Gallanis and associates. If you know of any others or have any facts, - why don't you say??

Finally... Why do you assume others will get off their asses and whine about not being paid by iBill unless they do have an account at iBill? Rest assured, there are more unpaid webmasters out there than ever there was ever any "blind posters" on GFY.

The only people that benefit from ibill demise is Gallanis and Assocs? Your kidding right? Sit down in a quiet place think about that again.

I don't have a quiet place to sit and think - I just deal in facts which are mainly public record, some background and the fact that iBill lie, avoid stating facts and owe funds.

The day a liquidator steps in there is the day everything is sealed. From even the little I know, there is also a fair prospect of opening up the playing field to other related businesses and an investigation into the history of iBill.

During that time, no one will be getting paid and all assets with eventually be split up and apportioned among the creditors.

If you are thinking of iBill competitors - they did not lie and do not avoid paying their clients. iBill did.

Hey Tony I assume you have a ibill account?

What sites do you own? other than 2257update?

Are you a lawyer?

You sound like a debunker that discredits someone everytime they post against ibill I notice that you post on every board imediatally when there is a ibill thread.

Who do you work for? I assume Ibill.

Do you think you can save Ibill by posting to gofuckyourself? Your repeated line about low post counts is getting old man better think up something new.

But DONT ANYONE LISTEN TO ME I HAVE LOW A LOW POST COUNT. Shit...

Hey Tony they have low post counts because their trying to make sales and dont have time like you to waste 8 hours a day reading forums and posting.

Most likely Tony's comeback.... " Well than why are you posting?"

Avoid paying clients they didnt have the money, now they are trying to correct that. Is it more fun to focus on the negative and what does not lying and paying their clients have to do with benefiting from ibill demise. Business 101 3 competitors goes to two competitors the two left standing benefit.

I dont work for ibill, I am owed money by ibill . Being negative and crying its not fair is not going to get me paid faster. So I hope for the best so I can get paid. Also maybe its because Im older then most here. I know alittle more about business. Once the lawyers get involved I know no one wins. If your so busy making money what would posting here achieve? They arent keeping track of who posts and who doesnt. Im the most positive and Im waiting for my wire like everyone else.

The last bit first... Agree it is not good to have little competition in the market and one less means the leaning towards a monopoly. This is currently the subject of a federal investigation.

Mmmm.. I'll choose my words carefully on the rest :-)

What you have is a business that was already in debt before any "company restructing" or shareholder shuffling.

The new principals were not of a background that made others comfortable and we saw the removal, tho pre warned, of the only transacting bank in the US, partly because, in the First Data instance, the bank simply did not trust the iBill principals with access to credit card data on millions of people.

This was a serious error of judgement to have only one bank in the US. This is entirely iBill's problem - they caused it my placing themselves in this position.

I really don't care when iBill claim to have no money - that is their problem. Gallais and co did buy the company for little hard cash and knowing of it's indebtedness. Any rational person knows that many millions need to be injected into iBill - Gallanis did not do this, but instead, between the ongoing debt and the withdrawal of First Data, - just ignore it and stuff a few million in to keep the operation afloat and just pass the buck on to webmasters and not pay them.

Overall.. this is just gross financial irresponsibility and, forgetting all the petty lies and deceit, this is a company that needs not only closing down, but criminal charges laid against, at least, the prime officers.

As an aside, I have had very reliable feedback from two directors of banks and they have no doubts on the above nor would they even risk any of their bank funds with this company, especially with the current management in place. It is clear First Data had very good reasons for withdrawing.

Hate to say it, I am not interested in seeing iBill cease, but each day that passes, I see little reason why they need to be a blot on the landscape.

It is a matter of pay ALL webmasters in FULL .. like now, - or cease to operate. This will not be within iBill's control shortly, hence the need to act.

Yep, I found this place when looking for a webmaster community to see how others are handleing the situation

But, i took the time to make my first post an introduction
I listed my background, websites, put in a plug for spookycash recieved a nice warm welcome and "go fuck yourself" from many nice people.

And then I went for the ibill thread, as well as participated in other unrelated threads...
I'm not saying everyone should have to list their credentials before posting here. But if you skip the introduction, then all people have to go on is post count.
