Many people do that..its just often their work isnt as good...most these guys have VERY LITTLE experience....they were trained for a couple weeks and released....so they're great for free sites and stuff...beyond that....you're taking your chances.... ...also, if you're caught poching and you've worked with these companies before then there is an element of your contract that makes them able to sue the shit out of you and your company.... |

I would be too, I know one of the employees of a AOS company and I was amazed how much work they got and how much they were paid. Anyway, most of the real talent left the companys. Big skill drain........... |

This is a great pr thread for outsourcing :)
If you put your own country's workers at risk by outsourcing why would you care if the workers are being abused ?? |

Damn these guys really sux, but why in the fuck would people work for them?
|
Its fucken sad, and one of the reasons why I have been fairly outspoken against outsourcing from the beginning. Not to mention a solid punch to my bottom line in some cases but it goes beyond that, concerning the talent of creative people working for a peanut shell. Its just wrong.

i have no respect for any fucker who uses outsourcing, cheap bastards need to get what is coming to them, use local services, there is plenty of local people who are easily worth the $.

It's unfortunate that you don't understand economics, business, or reality. :Oh crap |
I agree with you Brisk. You have to consider other factors here. If my co-employees here in AOS find that salary way too low, then they shouldn't have worked here in the first place. We all have choices here.

Wow...what a fucked up situation...hope it gets better

As a Filipino-American owner of my own outsourcing company here in the Philippines, I just want to assure online businessmen that read this that MOST Filipino business partners do not engage in the behavior alleged in this thread. It's just the few that give the rest a black eye. I was born in the Philippines but spent most of my life in the United States. A big reason I came back to the Philippines was to give jobs to Filipinos through outsourcing. If done right, outsourcing can help American companies compete better. Unfortunately, the recent AOS situation puts a cloud on the many mutual benefits that outsourced solutions provide. Don't let this situation give you a jaded view of ALL Filipinos or of outsourcing in general.
I know James and I know he'll spring back from this. I definitely will give him whatever help he needs to get back on track. Hang in there, man! Gene aka $5 Submissions |
thanks for this thread, I will never pay an Adult Outsourcing company in my life, only employees directly.
