i remember reading up on people that were immune to hiv because of some weird mutated gene.... thats what i thought this was about - not monkeys.

A freind of mine in NZ found out he was HIV+ about 20 years years ago and hasnt had so much as a sore throat since. A couple of years ago this lab in Melbourne flew him over and took a load of his blood. They dropped some heavy hints that this sort of thing was in the pipeline.

yeah i've heard about how the african prostitutes are immune to hiv as well. but you have to realize that the main strain of hiv there is much less deadly than the one here.
