What do webmasters want to see in a paysite/affilate program
OK Kids,
Sykkboy and I are workin away over here at DarkDollars tryin to make the best possible program for you guys and girls. Of course our flagship site is/was the net's best/first GOTH site, but we know not all of you know how to/want to promote goth, well help anyone that wants to learn how  Also we area adding new sites that area non goth, but here is where we want your input...What kinda sites do you want to pormote... What kinda support do you want/need from the program... Sykk, I recall you saying that you'd be willing to offer some content "to get started" but what I'd like is to have a bunch more then to just get started. Like some of these programs that just give you a id / pw and let you at the members area

The problem with content is that some webmasters think that they can get content to make galleries to submit. A program would need to have 1000's of free images since the first guy to submit to AL4A or TheHun would basically block all other submissions.
I think 500 or so free images are great, but unlimited is too hard to do. |

Normally I wouldn't have any problem with just letting webmasters choose the content they want, but we don't have the licensing on some of it to provide to webmasters (some of the content, we can only use on a limited amount of URL's).
Each webmaster, however, generally recieves a bit different content. If you want to make money with recurring it's got to have 100% exclusive content and updates on the reg. That will sell it's self and retain the fuck out of them. No other way around it..

Content to make money. Repeat. See lightspeedcash for a example of the "right" direction to head in giving productive affiliates content to work with. I myself am partial with a limited-dsitributed set of 15 or so pics per 10 signups you make, or something to that effect. I realize that there will always be the webmaster who demands $50 per signup plus 50% recurring plus all exits, etc. but we're looking for realistically what is desired in a good program... we thought of bannerless freehosting, but unfortunately, I've seen the ugly side of cheating on regular freehosting... I lvoe the idea of productivity based content distribution...
